I opened my first sign shop in 1983. Since then I have created almost every type of sign there is, from gold leaf lettering on glass doors, to sandblasted signs, to wall signs 40 feet up in the air (where my wife and I almost lost our life more than once)! However, through the years,  I have concentrated mostly on vehicle graphics. Today my love is vehicle Wraps.

Back when I first started in the sign business, sign makers worked as an apprentice for about five years before being called a sign maker. One would have to learn design and many other techniques first. Today, everyone thinks they do great designs, even without proper training. In fact, if you show me the work others have done for you, I can usually point out numerous design mistakes that they have made. It seems that signmakers think they do fantastic design work, but many times  times they break design rules  of which they are not even aware! 

My training is reflected in my work today.
